Nathan Brown CEO – Christian Media & Arts Australia (October 1st, 2014)

NathanBrown head shot_bwNathan has had a long association with Christian Media & Arts Australia and joined the board  in 2003, currently serving as Treasurer.

Nathan has taken up the position of CEO for Christian Media & Arts Australia after 8 years working for Dunham+Company, and leading the establishment of the Australian division of the company.

After 7 years serving as the General Manager for Asia Pacific Operations at Dunham+Co and having worked with over 40 Christian organisations with a team of 13 local fundraising professionals, Nathan transitioned to the role of VP+Director of Global Development, and was also responsible for sales management and serving as strategic lead for a range of clients.

Nathan’s early career was in the food service, hospitality and healthcare sales industry, where, until 2001, he was State Manager for Ecolab, a U.S.-based Fortune 500 company.

In 2001, Nathan left the commercial arena to become General Manager of Leading The Way Australasia. In this role, he organised the establishment of the Australian and New Zealand operations of the Atlanta-based radio and television teaching ministry of Dr. Michael Youssef, and effectively led that ministry into a period of strong growth.

Nathan currently serves as Director of Brightwaters waterskiing camps, Deputy Chairman of Hope Media, incorporating Hope 103.2, Sydney’s Christian radio station and is Trustee for Answers with Bayless Conley Australia and New Zealand.

Nathan is a member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia, is a Justice of the Peace and holds a Bachelor of Hospitality Management. He and his wife of 20 years are active members of Kellyville Anglican Church and live in Sydney with their 3 children.
