Music lovers and people looking for an enjoyable night out will have an opportunity to see Paraguayan folk harpist Eduard Klassen when he visits various towns throughout March and April 2017.
Klassen, who lives in Canada, has presented more than 4500 concerts in 31 countries since making a personal commitment to Christ.
The concerts will include a mix of harp music and anecdotes from the musician’s childhood in Paraguay and his life of touring, interspersed with personal testimony and stories of God’s work in his life. He will play harp music from South America, North America and Europe, including familiar hymns.
This is Klassen’s fourth tour of Australia, ever popular due to Eduard’s natural sense of humour, which helps him to develop an excellent rapport with audiences wherever he goes.
The musician’s tour has been organised by shortwave radio broadcaster Reach Beyond (formerly HCJB Australia) to promote its service, which broadcasts from Kununurra into Asia. Klassen has championed the Christian organisation since he first heard its broadcasts from Ecuador at his jungle home in Paraguay at age 10. The messages and practical programs about health, parenting and youth issues had a big impact on his life.
