After more than 10 years of service as the Producer of SquawkBox for Christian Media & Arts Australia Members, Renee Garvin is moving on from CMAA ready for a new season.

Renee’s service in our sector began even before marrying her husband Nathaniel. In fact Christian Media brought them together when Renee moved from Canberra after finishing her degree in Journalism at the University of Canberra to work at Coast FM, Tasmania where Nathaniel was the General Manager.

After a time of seeking God for their next season, in March 2006 Renee and Nathaniel moved to Hobart where Nathaniel took over the reigns at ultra106five. It was at that time Renee began writing the monthly Squawkbox member e-newsletter for Christian Media Australia. Over the years Renee has kept her finger on the pulse of the sector providing insights and vital information to members each and every month.

Whilst Renee will not be going far and will still be engaged in other ways with the sector, the next season is one where she feels called to help Nathaniel in their growing business.

On behalf of our members and the board of Christian Media & Arts Australia, I would like to thank Renee for her service and for being such an important link of information to members and friends of Christian Media & Arts Australia over so many years. I am sure you will join with me in thanking Renee for her service and wishing her all the best for this next season.
